Tender summary
North East Lincolnshire Council (the Authority) is commencing a review of the care home market and its future commissioning arrangements ahead of a planned procurement for provision of future care home arrangements. The review will consider current contractual arrangements and will include the development of a new service specification to ensure that future arrangements continue to support good-quality, sustainable and person-centred care that meets the needs of local people. The Authority will shortly undertake engagement with residents, their families and representatives, alongside professionals and partners working across health and social care. This engagement will help us understand what is working well, where improvements could be made and what should be considered within future arrangements. Following this initial engagement, the Authority intends to undertake a Preliminary Market Engagement exercise to gather the markets views on current arrangements and the Authority’s ideas for future models. This will be conducted via the Authority’s e-tender portal, YORtender - https://yortender.eu-supply.com/login.asp?B=YORTENDER The Council currently anticipates that new contractual arrangements will be in place by late 2027. This timetable is indicative and may be subject to change as the review and engagement activity progresses.
