Scope of works
East Sussex County Council use consultants for actuarial services to provide professional level advice, ensuring effective governance of the East Sussex Pension Fund. Pension benefits are funded by contributions and investment earnings. The Fund is governed by the Public Services Pensions Act 2013. An Invitation to Further Competition process was undertaken via accessing the National LGPS Framework for Actuarial, Benefits & Governance Consultancy Services to appoint a provider to deliver a new contract for the provision of Actuarial Services for the East Sussex Pension Fund. The new contract is scheduled to commence on 1st January 2027.
