Scope of works
The Users requires a sustained and supported capability that will deliver a safe, effective and reliable means of ensuring tactical military fixed wing aircraft are prevented from runway excursions during an emergency landing or aborted take-off. The capability will be required to support the enabling of the Strategic Base, fulfil standing commitments, develop and maintain a contingent capability and contingent operations commensurate with the direction provided in Defence Strategic Direction and the RAF Command Plan.
