Social Cohesion in Greater Manchester: Understanding Experiences and Identifying Solutions

Scope of works

GMCA has undertaken an open tender exercise under the Procurement Act 2023 to appoint a supplier to deliver a qualitative research project exploring the drivers of social cohesion across Greater Manchester and identifying potential local and regional solutions. The work will draw on residents' perceptions and experiences, including what influences cohesion, what matters most to communities, and how GM partners can support stronger social cohesion across local areas. The contract is proposed to be awarded to The University of Salford, following evaluation, with a total contract value of £49,948.66 for a 12-month period.
