Scope of works
This is the provision of T-Quest Blue and Pink Label Sheets, which are used within laboratory processes to categorise and identify patient samples. The colour-coded labels support the accurate tracking, processing, and management of specimens throughout the testing pathway, enabling rapid visual recognition by laboratory staff and reducing the risk of processing errors. T- Quest specimen bags are used for the secure and contamination- free transport of patient samples between collection points and the laboratory. The colour-coded label system is embedded within existing laboratory processes and enables rapid visual identification of specimens, supporting efficient workflow management and reducing the risk of processing errors. The associated specimen bags provide secure and contamination-free transport of samples between collection points and laboratory facilities. Together, these products contribute directly to patient safety by maintaining sample integrity, traceability and accurate identification from collection through to analysis. A change of supplier would require significant operational changes, including the reconfiguration of printer settings, amendment of templates and label formats, and extensive validation and testing activities across multiple sites. Such changes would introduce implementation risks, place additional resource demands on clinical and laboratory teams, and create the potential for disruption to critical pathology services.
