It will bring together clinicians from the UK’s largest NHS provider of specialist child and adolescent mental health services to work with the largest group of mental health scientists and clinical academics in Europe. The New Children and Young Persons (CYP) project is planned to start occupation in May 0f 2026. The building is classified as a high risk build under the building safety act 2022. The area of the works is on the 4th floor of the building which is a dedicated CAMHS unit, the whole of this floor will remain unoccupied until the sprinkler and associated works are completed.
