Scope of works
The Makers and Otto are preparing to undertake a procurement exercise to appoint a high-calibre Service Provider to manage two developments, delivering integrated, “hotel-quality” facilities and property management services. It is anticipated that interested organisations (Service Provider) will be able to demonstrate relevant expertise and experience in managing non-social, multi-tenure residential environments, including the long-term maintenance and management of significant residential and commercial assets, while fostering positive community and resident satisfaction. The model Service Provider will demonstrate a commitment to: proactive asset and property management; efficient, high-quality and customer-focused service delivery; effective management of multi-tenure environments; maintaining and enhancing the long-term value and condition of the assets; fostering positive relationships with residents, occupiers and other stakeholders; and the seamless integration of a “soft landing” approach to service mobilisation and ongoing management. The Makers and Otto wish to understand from leading market providers how the desired outcomes for the service might best be achieved and are therefore undertaking this Preliminary Market Engagement exercise. The purpose of this exercise is to engage with the market at an early stage, obtain information and views from suitably experienced organisations, and use the information received to help inform the development of the business case, service requirements and procurement strategy.
