Scope of works
Diversion of an existing Severn Trent water main to facilitate the construction of the Bardon Link Road bridge, including its installation via a bridge push methodology and associated temporary works. The existing water main currently lies within the footprint of the proposed bridge structure and its temporary works, including launch platforms, support zones, and construction access areas. In its current position, the asset presents a significant constraint to the safe and efficient delivery of the bridge works, necessitating its relocation prior to main construction activities. This is a direct award to Severn Trent Water as the statutory undertaker for the works
