As a minimum this should include social worker, education settings and carers information based on data provided by Cheshire East Council > Establish the child's or young person's attendance for both morning and afternoon sessions. > Where children or young people are educated off-site, contact to be made with the alternative provider to check the child or young person's attendance there, subject to agreement with the home school and the Virtual School. > Maintain individual attendance records for each child, using the standard nomenclature and coding for attendance as used in schools as described by the DfE: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/school-attendance > These records should be accessible at all times, in real time. > Alert carers or social workers of any child or young person who has unexplained absence within the duration of the session when the absence occurs, with a system for prioritising those children whose absence places them or others at an increased risk.
