Scope of works

Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board (CTMUHB) wish to procure the services of an individual from your organisation to undertake the day-to-day duties of a project manager role for a period of c18 months. The successful tenderer will be expected to act as part of the CTMUHB Capital projects team, reporting on projects at monthly meetings and escalating project issues through the correct hierarchy structure. This role will require familiarity with the public sector procurement process, for both professional services and works contracts, and will operate within the confines of NHS Wales governance structures – with demonstrable experience working within complex public sector, and preferably healthcare environments, with comparable governance structures. The role requires regular on site working across various CTMUHB sites. Remote working is acceptable for administrative and planning tasks; however, the Consultant must be available to attend site when required for project meetings, inspections, issue resolution, or operational coordination. The consultant will utilise technical knowledge and expertise to provide the full range of capital planning and project management services required by CTMUHB, and act as the Health Board’s representative, ensuring compliance with NEC4 PSC Option A, Health Board governance, statutory requirements, and all relevant WHTMs/WHBNs, CDM Regulations and internal procedures. This will routinely necessitate working within challenging parameters of cost, time and quality and involve the processing of highly complex, contentious and sensitive information.
