Scope of works
Derry City and Strabane District Council (DCSDC) invites tenders for the provision of an independent evaluation of the DNA Museum (Derry-Londonderry on the North Atlantic). The DNA Museum is a significant heritage and cultural investment located at Ebrington in Derry ~ Londonderry. It involves the preservation, redevelopment, and adaptive reuse of historic buildings to establish a new museum and archive facility. The project is designed to enhance access to heritage assets, collections, archives, and genealogy services, while also supporting broader cultural, educational, and place-based initiatives. The museum will offer an engaging visitor experience, with projected attendance reaching 75,000 visitors annually by its third year. The project is supported by a range of public and charitable funders and is being delivered in accordance with an approved Full Business Case, Activity Plan and associated governance. DCSDC now wishes to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced external evaluation consultant to undertake an independent evaluation. The evaluation will assess delivery, outcomes and emerging impact, drawing on project documentation, stakeholder engagement and available evidence. The purpose of this tender is to appoint a consultant or consultancy team to design and deliver the evaluation in accordance with the Specification of Requirement set out below. This consultancy is specifically to evaluate the outcomes and outputs of the project and inform future delivery. Your submission must be submitted via etendersNI, via this CFT.
