Scope of works
Contract award for the provision of comprehensive IT Support services for Biggleswade Town Council. The scope of the contract includes the full management of existing IT infrastructure, telephony, connectivity, licensing, and cyber security. The provider will be a single preferred supplier responsible for end-to-end support services, dedicated account management, and consolidated billing, operating under clearly defined points of contact and key performance indicators. The services will support a flexible, hybrid working environment across the Council's estate, managing established investments in Microsoft 365, network/Wi-Fi infrastructure, cyber security, and meeting room technology. This includes supporting remote staff, hybrid Council meetings (utilising Zoom and YouTube), and mobile technology across various frontline Council services. This procurement was conducted via a competitive tendering procedure in accordance with the Procurement Act 2023.
