Canvey Lake Dredging

Scope of works

Castle Point Borough Council are seeking to appoint a suitably experienced contractor to undertake dredging works at Canvey Lake, Canvey Island, Essex. Castle Point Borough Council has prioritised improvements to Canvey Lake following it taking back the management of the lake in July 2026. A total budget of £1 million has been assigned to the completion of dredging works.
