This is enforced and regulated by the Environment Agency (EA). UU require 2 suppliers for the collection of samples at 9 IED sites to then be transported in refrigerated vehicles for analysis at certified laboratories for Industrial Emissions Directive (IED) permit requirements. Upon collection of the samples, the results should be returned to the laboratory within 10 working days.
