Scope of works
1.1 Blyth Town Council is inviting tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the replacement and installation of ten bus shelters at locations across Blyth, Northumberland. The works form part of a Bus Shelter Improvement Scheme funded through the North East Mayoral Strategic Authority (MSA) Bus Service Improvement Plan (BSIP), with the objective of improving the safety, accessibility, quality and amenity of bus waiting facilities for residents and visitors. The contract will comprise the removal and appropriate disposal of existing bus shelters, preparation of sites as necessary, supply and installation of new bus shelters, associated seating and all ancillary works required to provide complete, safe and fully operational facilities.
