Scope of works
Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) supports informed decision-making on major industrial, economic development and clean technology initiatives. To fulfil this mandate, the Department requires reliable and up-to-date intelligence on global clean technology markets, investment flows, industrial trends, policy developments, emerging technologies and energy transition sectors. The Department has relied on BloombergNEF (BNEF) subscriptions to conduct research, monitor international market developments, assess investment opportunities, compare Canada's competitive position against other jurisdictions and support advice provided to senior government officials. BloombergNEF provides comprehensive market intelligence and analytical tools covering the clean technology and energy transition sectors that are not otherwise available through publicly accessible sources or other subscription services.
