Scope of works
ATTENTION: Offer submissions must be submitted by 01 October 2026 by 14:00 EDT. The Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement to develop a Canadian-designed, remotely controlled, and autonomous mine countermeasures (MCM) uncrewed surface vehicle (USV) capable of surveying the ocean floor to detect, locate, and identify underwater mines. The contract is designed to support an iterative and incremental approach to meet Canada’s unique operational requirements. A National Security Exception (NSE) has been invoked for this procurement. This solicitation is open to all current Supply Arrangement holders across all streams of the Defence Drone Initiative (DDI) Supply Arrangement. This solicitation of offers is subject to the Policy on Prioritizing Canadian Suppliers and Canadian Content in Strategic Federal Procurements. Offerors must direct all questions and other communications regarding the solicitation of offers in writing and only to the Contracting Authority identified in the solicitation of offers by email to AID.IDD-DIA.DDI@dia-aid.gc.ca.
