The Government of Suriname has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the project Suriname Competitiveness and Sector Diversification project (SCSD) loan IBRD 8985 SR and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract[1] for Machines online 2. The Project Implementing Unit of Suriname Competitiveness and Sector Diversification project (SCSD) loan IBRD 8985 within the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Entrepreneurship and Technological Innovation now invites Bids from eligible Bidders for Goods such as mentioned in table 1. All goods shall be new and unused. Please note: This Invitation consists of a total of 6 items. Bids will only be accepted for evaluation if the 2 mandatory items (Item 1. Big CNC and Item 2, 1 Fiber Laser are fully priced. Failure to provide pricing for these 2 mandatory items shall result in the immediate rejection of the bid as non-responsive." Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement through the procurement method RFQ as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” July 2016 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from the Project Implementing Unit, Suriname Competitiveness and Sector Diversification project (SCSD) at the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Entrepreneurship and Technological Innovation, the procurement specialist at the email addresses: procurement.ez@gov.srcc: cus@surinamecompete.org The bidding document can be requested through email. Bids must be delivered by email by June 18, 2026, at 2.00 PM. Late Bids will be rejected. All Bids must be accompanied by a signed Bid-Securing Declaration.
