NO: TZ-MBEF-561760-CS-CDS This request for expression of interests follows the General Procurement Notice for the Tanzania scaling up sustainable marine fisheries and aquaculture management (TASFAM) project which appeared in the UN Development Business Online on 5th June 2025. The Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar through the United Republic of Tanzania has received financing from the World Bank towards the cost of Tanzania Scaling up Sustainable Marine Fisheries and Aquaculture Management (TASFAM) Project and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of the financing to cover eligible payments under the contract for consultancy services for Development of temporarily reallocation plans (TRP) for construction of Kizimkazi and Wete fish landing sites. The objective of the assignment is prepare a comprehensive, ESS5-compliant Temporary Relocation Plan for both Kizimkazi Mkunguni and Wete Selemu that provides a clear, time-bound, and adequately resourced framework for managing the temporary displacement of all affected persons during the construction period. The consultant shall conduct several activities as stated in the TOR’s. The assignment shall be carried out for a period of three (3) months from the date of contract signing. The detailed Terms of Reference (TOR) can be obtained through a project website https://tasfam.blueeconomysmz.go.tz. The Ministry of Blue Economy and Fisheries Zanzibar now invites eligible consulting firms to submit their expression of interest in providing these services.
