Le Projet répond aux besoins immédiats des populations pauvres et vulnérables tout en contribuant à la mise en place d’un système de protection sociale adaptative capable d’être renforcé en période de crise. Afin de consolider ses objectifs et d’élargir la portée de ses interventions, le Projet bénéficie également d’un financement additionnel récemment accordé par l’IDA. Ce financement complémentaire vise à accroître les transferts monétaires aux ménages vulnérables, renforcer les capacités institutionnelles et assurer une meilleure couverture géographique et opérationnelle. Il traduit la confiance renouvelée du gouvernement et de la Banque mondiale dans la pertinence du PFSS-RRC et dans son rôle stratégique pour la résilience sociale et économique des Comores. Placé sous la tutelle du ministère de la Santé et de la Protection sociale, le projet est aligné sur la Politique nationale de protection sociale, notamment sur l’amélioration des conditions de vie des ménages pauvres et vulnérables, la protection du capital
