For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing The Guma Valley Water Company now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the construction of 60,000m3 Raw Water Storage for the Angola Treatment Plant situated in the Angola Community along the Freetown Peninsular Highway. The work includes major earthworks, geomembrane installation, and structural, concrete and pipework. The construction period for this work is 18 months. Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s http://www.worldbank.org/html/opr/procure/guidelin.html Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers of September 2025. (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. Bids will be evaluated in accordance with the evaluation process set out in the bidding documents. The following weightings shall apply for Rated Criteria (including technical and non-price factors): 60% allocated to Technical Weight and 40% to Financial Weight.
