Project P179684 — Sustainable Power and Irrigation for Nigeria Project · NIGERIA SUSTAINABLE POWER AND IRRIGATION FOR NIGERIA PROJECT GENERAL PROCUREMENT NOTICE Credit No. 7637NG Project ID No. P179684 The Federal Government of Nigeria has received financing in the amount of US$ Five Hundred Million equivalent from the World Bank toward the cost of the Sustainable Power and Irrigation for Nigeria (SPIN) Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds to payments for goods, works, nonconsulting services, and consulting services to be procured under this project. The objective of the SPIN Project is to strengthen dam safety and improve the management of water resources to support hydropower generation and irrigation services in selected areas of Nigeria. Project Components The project comprises four components, namely: Component 1: Institutional Strengthening and Capacity Building for Water Resources Management (US$30 million) Component 2: Irrigation Modernization ( US$350 million) Component 3: Improvements in Dam Operations and Enhancing Dam Safety ( US$100 million) Component 4: Project Management ( US$20 million) Proposed Projects to Be Procured Under Open International Competitive Procurement Consultancy Development of the National Hydropower Master Plan and preparation of the Strategic Environmental and Social Assessment (SESA) Consultancy Services for the Development and Operationalization of National Dam Safety Guidelines, Portfolio Risk Assessment (RISIN), Dams Safety Management Instruments, and Digital Dam Asset Management System (DDAMS) Consultancy Services for the Design Review, Detailed Engineering Design, and Construction Supervision of the Rehabilitation Works for KampeOmi Dam and DukkuLade Weir (Kogi and Kwara States), and for Doma and Galala Dams (Nasarawa and Bauchi States) Consultancy Services for the Construction Supervision for Alau Irrigation Scheme in Borno State Consultancy Services for design review and Construction Supervision of Jakara Wasai irrigation Scheme Kano State and Bansara irrigation Scheme Cross River Consultancy Services for Construction Supervision of the DesignandBuild Works for the Rehabilitation and Modernization of the Doma (Nasarawa State), Galala (Bauchi State), KampeOmi (Kogi State), Du
