Le Grand Annecy Agglomération recherche des composteurs répondant à la norme NF Environnement n°094, dédiée aux composteurs de proximité, certifiée par un organisme de type AFNOR. Cette norme certifie que les composteurs répondent aux critères environnementaux de qualité (notamment stabilité, aération, montage facile), durabilité, de matériaux (60% minimum de matière recyclée et de limitation des métaux lourds)
