Ireland – Health and social work services – HSE 29617 - Authorisation Scheme for the Provision of Home Support Services - Round 4

Scope of works

The HSE on behalf of Services for Older Persons established the Authorisation Scheme in 2023 (with an initial term of 24 months with the terms being extended for a further 24 months) to secure suitable Service Providers to meet the HSE’s requirements for Home Support Services. The HSE is reopening the Authorisation Scheme to Applicants for a further round of submissions (“Round 4”) under this Invitation to Participate. Interested parties are advised that although the process is being advertised on eTenders using the “Open procedure” heading, this is in fact a simple Authorisation Scheme in accordance with Recital 4 of the Procurement Directive. Accordingly, this Authorisation Scheme does not fall within the scope of the Procurement Directive or S.I. No. 130/2010 (The European Communities (Public Authorities' Contracts) (Review Procedures) Regulations 2010) (as amended) (the “Remedies Regulations”).
