A empreitada consiste na melhoria das condições de circulação e segurança no IP8, entre o Nó de Relvas Verdes (km13+820) e Roncão (28+002), no concelho de Santiago de Cacém, distrito de Setúbal, através da duplicação do existente para um perfil de 2x2, melhorando assim as acessibilidades ao Porto de Sines.
