Scope of works

The single source acquisition VOCUS-CI-ToF-MS system from Aerodyne Research Inc are requested due to the unique technical capabilities critical for departmental research. This high-performance mass spectrometry system is required for direct, real-time trace gas and aerosol monitoring in ambient air. Direct real-time atmospheric sampling at sub-parts-per-trillion limits requires specialized mass spectrometry. Aerodyne is uniquely qualified to meet all core scientific criteria offering bipolar ion measurement alongside concurrent gas and aerosol-phase analysis. Additionally, Aerodyne systems feature field-deployable mobility, rapid ionization mode switching between PTR and CI, high mass resolution (> 10,000 Th/Th), sub-pptv detection capabilities, and integrated software support.
