Scope of works
PROJECT BACKGROUND: Sir Winston Churchill Provincial Park is located approximately 11km from the community of Lac La Biche. The park includes 72 campsites, comfort camping cabins, and a reservable community facility. The basement level of the staff residence building was stripped down to bare studs following a flood in 2024. As a result, two staff bedrooms have been removed from service. PROJECT OBJECTIVE: This project involves the repair and waterproofing of an existing staff residence foundation and the restoration of the basement living space as budget allows. Exterior work will focus on addressing water infiltration issues through foundation repairs, drainage improvements, roof drainage modifications, and replacement of affected hardscaping. Interior scope will restore the basement from its current stripped-to-studs condition into a completed, code-compliant three bedroom, one bathroom living area.
