Request for Partnership (RFP) The Sundre Campus of Care calls for visionary partners who thrive in ambiguity, welcome unique challenges, and share our commitment to charting a new path in care, modeled after the Town of Beaverlodge’s first Public‑Private Partnership health project, A preferred partner will exhibit the same spirit, values and purpose of the Town of Sundre and the community. The Preferred Partner will complement the project objectives in a way that add values to all parties and the community at large. The Preferred Partner will bring a creative and innovative lens to the project, building a broader stakeholder experience along with a positive financial benefit for all. The Preferred Partner will have a strong track record of success in similar projects across other jurisdictions, with knowledge of local markets. The Preferred Partner will have the funding qualifications necessary along with reference endorsements, including the ability to take responsibility for early works for the project as a partial in-kind contribution. This will be a long-term partnership, so focus must be on developing the relationship while getting to know each organization, the local jurisdiction, and to contribute positively, over the long-term towards a successful partnership. Preferred Partner (PP) Qualifications The Town of Sundre is seeking a PP that has strategic thinking ability, space planning, development, and technical expertise, and an understanding of future trends in real estate and health care for the area. The PP will understand and embrace the values and vision of the Sundre Campus of Care. The PP will have extensive experience in space development and utilization planning for organizations of similar size, scope and purpose. Interested parties should provide evidence of their involvement in projects of a similar size and scope. PP’s will have proven experience with facilities/space allocation models, best practices in other jurisdictions, feasibility studies, and business cases that are integrated to chart the course of a viable, economical, and strategically-sound plan. Knowledge and experience working with municipal government and the provincial government, including governance and legislation would be an asset. Its critical the PP have capacity to bring development expertise, capital and in-kind contributions (early works) in the form of equity, and be responsible for utilizing the land, partners and project to create revenue streams and creative revenue generating ideas for the project.
