Project P176478 — South Tarawa Sanitation Project · Method: Individual Consultant Selection · Consulting services · REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (REOI) SELECTION OF AN INDIVIDUAL CONSULTANT (ADVERTISEMENT) 30 October 2026 The Project South Tarawa Sanitation Project (STSP) Assignment Title Deputy Project Manager (Open/National) Reference No. KI-MISE-577890-CS-INDV The Ministry of Infrastructure and Sustainable Energy (MISE), Government of Kiribati (GOK) has received financing from the World Bank towards the cost of the South Tarawa Sanitation Project ( STSP) - P176478 and intends to allocate part of the proceeds for the procurement of consulting services. The consulting services (“the Services”) include services as STSP Deputy Project Manager . The Consultant will be recruited for an initial period of one (1) year, following 3-month probationary period with the possibility of extension subject to satisfactory performance, project needs, and the availability of funds. It is anticipated that the Consultant will commence duties in Q1 2027 on a full-time basis. A Time-Based Contract will be signed based on the agreed fortnightly rate. Interested Consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services (attach curriculum vitae with description of experience in similar assignments, similar conditions, etc.). Firms’ staff may express interest through the employing firm for the assignment and, under such situation, only the experience and qualifications of individuals shall be considered in the selection process. The criteria for selecting the Consultant are: Essential Requirements – Qualification, Skills and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
