The Republic of Lebanon has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Green Agri-Food Transformation for Economic Recovery (GATE) ; and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Complementary Works for the Expansion of the Sewage Collection Network to Connect to the Zahle & Aitanit Wastewater Treatment Plants. For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the World Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines for Investment Project Financing. 2. The Council for Development and Reconstruction (CDR) acting as an implementing agency for and on behalf of the Republic of Lebanon now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the execution of Complementary Works for the Expansion of the Sewage Collection Network to Connect to the Zahle & Aitanit Wastewater Treatment Plants ( The Works ) . The successful Bidder shall complete the works within 6 (six) months from the Commencement Date. 3.
