Project P177814 — Pathways to Sustainable Livelihoods Project · Method: Individual Consultant Selection · Consulting services · KINGDOM OF LESOTHO MINISTRY OF GENDER, YOUTH AND SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT PATHWAYS TO SUSTAINABLE LIVELIHOODS PROJECT (PSLP) REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (CONSULTING SERVICES- INDIVIDUAL CONSULTANTS SELECTION METHOD) LOAN NO: P177814 CREDIT NO: IDA - 71480 -LS ASSIGNMENT TITLE: ENGAGEMENT OF A VIDEOGRAPHER FOR ECONOMIC INCLUSION PROGRAM REFERENCE NO: LS-MOSD-565897-CS-INDV DURATION: 8 WEEKS BACKGROUND The Pathways to Sustainable Livelihoods Project (PSLP) is a 5-year intervention by the Ministry of Gender, Youth and Social Development (MGYSD), financed by the World Bank. PSLP aims at improving the efficiency and equity of selected social assistance programs and to strengthen the livelihoods of poor and vulnerable households. Economic Inclusion Program (EIP) is component 1A of the PSLP and support the government of Lesotho in implementing customized economic and social inclusion activities. The economic inclusion package includes the following interventions: Community Mobilisation Financial inclusion education, savings groups, and mentorship Micro-entrepreneurship and Soft Skills Training Productive Grants Referral services Grievances and Redressal Mechanism (GRM) OBJECTIVE The objective of this assignment is the production of EIP video and audio recording capturing selected beneficiary households who have successfully overcome economic and social challenges to start and grow their micro enterprises from the seed capital provided by the program. Beneficiaries should be captured on site showcasing their micro enterprises. SCOPE Compilation of a video 10 - 15 minutes capturing successful EIP beneficiaries from the five community councils (Bolahla, Phuthiatsana, Metsi-maholo, Thaba Mokhele and Tosing) live at their micro enterprises. The video will capture three (3) beneficiaries per community council. REPORTING The consultant will undertake this work, under the overall supervision of the Livelihoods Specialist. The Consultant will be required to carry out the tasks independently but will be required to report regularly on the status of tasks assigned.
