Project P514793 — Secondary Education Transformation for Access, Relevance, and Results for Jobs · Method: Consultant Qualification Selection · Consulting services · MINISTRY OF EDUCATION REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST - (CONSULTING SERVICES – FIRMS SELECTION) SECONDARY EDUCATION TRANSFORMATION FOR ACCESS, RELEVANCE AND RESULTS FOR JOBS (STARR-J) PROJECT Project No.: P 514793 ASSIGNMENT: SELECTION OF CONSULT ING FIRMS FOR PRE-CONTRACT AND ENVIRONMENTAL AND SOCIAL ASSESSMENT SERVICES FOR THE UPGRADE AND REHABILITATION OF SECONDARY SCHOOLS REFERENCE NO: MOE/STARR-J/CS/1/PreZ1-9/2026 The Government of Ghana has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Secondary Education Transformation for Access, Relevance and Results for Jobs (STARR-J) Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services. The consulting services (“the Services”) will include among others the inspection of the Project sites, Design review of existing drawings, preparation of Good-for-Construction Drawings, and Siting of; 30 Schools (SHS / TVI) to be upgraded; 6-unit, 12-unit and 18-unit Classroom Blocks, 250 capacity Dormitory Blocks, 12-Seater Toilet Blocks, 3-Unit Workshops and Sick Bays and determining the rehabilitation works to be carried out at 150 Schools (SHS / TVI), The Services shall be executed in nine (9) zones, and one contract will be awarded for each zone. The assignment is expected to start in January/2027 and the implementation period is estimated to be three (3) months.
