The Government of Kenya has received financing from the World Bank (the Bank) towards the cost of the Second Kenya Urban Support Program (KUSP II) and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services. 2. The aim of the consulting services (“the Services”) is to strengthen records and archives management systems within the Urban Development Department (UDD) of the State Department for Housing and Urban Development (SDHUD) and selected municipalities by enhancing institutional capacity, standardising records management practices, and supporting the design and supervised deployment of Electronic Document and Records Management Systems (EDRMS), with a view to improving efficiency, accessibility, compliance, transparency, and accountability in urban management. The consulting services are expected to be for a period of eight (8) calendar months in two phases, from the date of contract commencement. 3.
