FMWR&S/SPIN/QCBS/CS/2026/19A The Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN), through the Federal Ministry of Water Resources and Sanitation (FMWRS) is currently implementing the Sustainable Power and Irrigation for Nigeria (SPIN) Project with a credit received from the International Development Association (IDA) and it intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services. The SPIN Project is designed to strengthen dam safety and improve the management of water resources for hydropower, irrigation, flood management and climate resilience in selected areas of Nigeria. The Federal Government of Nigeria is undertaking the rehabilitation and safety improvement of selected federal dams and associated hydraulic appurtenances, including detailed engineering design, preparation of rehabilitation measures, and construction supervision services to enhance structural integrity, operational reliability, and long-term climate resilience. The objective of the Assignment: The overall objective of the assignment is to undertake design review, producing the design and engineering drawings, technical specifications, works requirements, the bill of quantities and construction supervision for the rehabilitation of Doma and Galala Dams and associated hydraulic appurtenances. The Consultant shall review and utilize the findings, conclusions and recommendations of the Dam Safety Review Panel of Experts (DSRPoE) Dam Safety Assessment Reports as the technical basis for the assignment.
