Project P177329 — RMI Multisectoral Early Childhood Development Project - II · Method: Individual Consultant Selection · Consulting services · Republic of the Marshall Islands Early Children Development II Loan No./Credit No./ Grant No .: IDA-E0320 Assignment Title: National ECD Coordinator- Ministry of Culture and Internal Affairs (MOCIA) The Republic of the Marshall Islands seeks a full-time National ECD Coordinator- Ministry of Culture and Internal Affairs (MOCIA) to support implementation of the Multi-sector Early Childhood Development Project in close consultation with MOCIA. The ECD National Coordinator-Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) provides strategic leadership, management, coordination, monitoring of MOCIA ECD activity implementation. The ECD National Coordinator will be responsible for supporting MOCIA leadership in institutionalizing the ECD Program within MOCIA as well as supporting specific activities under the IDA-financed project. The position will be based in Majuro, RMI The detailed Terms of Reference (TOR) can be found at: hr.rmi.ecd@gmail.com The National ECD Coordinator- CCT works closely with the Secretary of Culture and Internal Affairs and the MOCIA senior leadership team in executing and coordinating the work identified in the Component 3 of Annual Work Plan (AWP). The Project Coordinator will lead the implementation, coordination and day-to-day activities for the implementation of ECD cash assistance activities. The position requires excellent analytical and communication skills and the ability to implement detailed administrative responsibilities, and support the work of a small team and maintain a collegial and consultative working relationship with other team members. The ideal candidate should be detailed oriented and a very strong administrator with significant amounts of foresight, patience, and persistence to navigate an innovative multi-ministry project. The position is a full-time position to be located in Majuro, RMI. The duration of the contract will be for 5 months (until December 31, 2026). Mandatory Qualification and Experience Bachelor’s degree or Associates Degree and/or 3 years’ experience in relevant project coordination roles/responsibilities.
