Tender Description
East Liverpool City Schools requests FY2027 bids for eligible MIBS, BMIC, and software/licenses for existing district-owned Extreme Networks equipment at five schools. These are contingency requests if the district does not complete its separately bid wireless and switching replacements. The district may buy all, part, or none of the services and may award categories separately. Existing inventory (estimated): 50 switches (stacked and standalone), 230 wireless APs, and 1 wireless controller. Bidders shall verify equipment and identify covered models and quantities. No new hardware is requested on this Form 470. MIBS: Quote eligible ongoing operation, monitoring, and management of existing internal broadband equipment, with support hours, response times, and service scope. BMIC: Separately quote eligible repair, upkeep, troubleshooting, and in-person/on-site configuration work. SOFTWARE/LICENSING: Separately quote eligible ExtremeCloud IQ or compatible licenses and associated eligible software/remote support for existing APs, switches, and controller. Identify license terms, quantities, renewals, and equipment covered. Licenses must be available independently of MIBS or BMIC. Avoid duplicate charges and separately itemize ineligible costs. Newly purchased replacement equipment is excluded. MANDATORY ASSESSMENTS: For bids involving MIBS or on-site BMIC, vendors must arrange and complete a district site assessment by December 2, 2026, emailing ccardelein@elcsd.k12.oh.us to
