Tender Description
The Project consists of the improvements to the raw water intake facilities, filtration system, sludge treatment and management processes, chemical feed systems, electrical power distribution infrastructure, emergency power generation facilities, instrumentation and control systems, and associated site improvements. Work also includes the integration of new monitoring and control components into PRASA’s existing SCADA system. All work will be performed in accordance with the Scope of Work and Specifications prepared by PRASA. This will benefit approximately 2,370 families in the municipality of Ciales. The project will be financed by local funds from the Puerto Rico Aqueduct and Sewer Authority (PRASA) and/or grant made or insured by the Drinking Water State evolving Fund Program under the provisions of Public Law 104-182-EPA, Safe Drinking Water Act.
