Tender Description
The project includes improvements to key treatment process units such as coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, filtration, and disinfection systems, rehabilitation of the distribution tank, new clearwell tank, along with optimization of the sludge treatment system. All work will be performed in accordance with the Scope of Work and Specifications prepared by PRASA. This project will benefit approximately 1,269 families in the municipality of Vega Baja. The project will be financed by local funds from the Puerto Rico Aqueduct and Sewer Authority (PRASA) and/or grant made or insured by the Drinking Water State evolving Fund Program under the provisions of Public Law 104-182-EPA, Safe Drinking Water Act.
