Scope of works
The Project consists of permanently decommissioning the existing WTP and implementing a potable water transference system from Enrique Ortega WTP. The work includes hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, structural, and SCADA improvements; upgrades to existing pump stations; construction of a new booster pump station; and replacement of the existing potable water transmission pipeline through installation of 10‑inch diameter ductile iron pipeline. All in accordance with the Scope of Work and Specifications prepared by PRASA. This project will benefit approximately 1,942 families in the municipality of Bayamón. The project will be financed by local funds from the Puerto Rico Aqueduct and Sewer Authority (PRASA) and/or grant made or insured by the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund Program under the provisions of Public Law 104-182-EPA, Safe Drinking Water Act.
